Starting up the AXC F XT IB INTERBUS master
Available on AXC F 2152 and AXC F 3152 from firmware 2019.3
INTERBUS startup: ways of addressing
For starting up INTERBUS with the AXC F XT IB, there are two ways of addressing:
- Logical addressing
With this way of addressing, the INTERBUS modules are handled in the usual way in PLCnext Engineer: They can be inserted via the Device List editor and their process data can be assigned in the Data List. - Physical addressing
With this way of addressing, logical addressing of INTERBUS process data is not possible.
Instead, the process data of the INTERBUS modules is placed one after the other in a buffer of the controller memory, corresponding to each module's physical location on the bus.
Via the buffer, read/write access to the process data is possible in the control application.
