Add server or client

If you create a connection via + ADD SERVER OR CLIENT, then it is directly in the GDS and the specified devices are directly known to the GDS. 

• To register an application, click the + ADD SERVER OR CLIENT button.
  

The Add server or client dialog opens.

• Chose the type and enter the IP address or name and the URI. 
• Click the ADD SERVER OR CLIENT button. 

You successfully registered the application. Now connect to the server. 

• To connect with the GDS, enter the username and the password that you use to log in to the asset via the WBM.
  
• Click the SAVE button.

The connection has been created.
